SALT THERAPY
Salt therapy, also known as Halotherapy, was observed by Catholic Monks in medieval Europe. However, its start is better attributed to Dr. Feliks Boczkowski after he noticed that salt miners had extremely good respiratory and overall health. He also noticed that they had a younger looking appearance than their peers did.

Halotherapy gained more attention in those countries through the 40-60's. In 1985 the Institute of Balneology created the first halogenerator. In the 1990's people in the United States picked up on the healing nature of Halotherapy and it has been gaining more traction over the last couple of decades.
Salt therapy can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Aspen Tree Hypnotherapy and Wellness brings this therapy to Oklahoma City through our commercial grade infrared sauna and Klafs halogenerator. The halogenerator disperses microsalt particles in to the air within the structure of the sauna. You simply sit, breathe as you normally would, and take in all of the health benefits of the salt. |

Because our halogenerator is in our sauna and private sauna healing room, you can sit in the nude. This will allow your skin to benefit from the healing nature of the salt.
You can opt to sauna while enjoying salt therapy or you can opt to leave the heat off and only experience the salt. Both ways are immensely helpful!
